15 Minute City Report Generator

Aim

This project seeks to use a wide range of data sources, to produce a report showing all of the points of interest available within a set travel radius of the address.

Objectives

1. Evaluate a range of geo-spatial data sets that may contribute 2. Build an appropriate graph/tree data structure centered upon the address 3. Produce and evaluate a visualisation of the answer

Deliverables

1. A data dictionary of sources 2. An evaluation of appropriate routing algorithms 3. A software demonstrator that can produce a map showing POIs within a set travel distance/mode for an address

Research Questions

1. What is an appropriate algorithmic approach for finding a set of POIs within a set travel distance of a point, taking into account computational time. 2. Can an appropriate visualisation methodology be established for "15 minute maps"?
